Refuse | Reduce | Reuse | Recycle | Rot
The Zero Waste Lifestyle has interested me for many years. In July of 2016, the village informed residents that our landfill had been given a 10 year extension. But we have to work harder. As it would reach capacity before the 10 years is up. Forcing us to establish a transfer station at great cost.
As a result, I decided to renew my efforts to live a Zero Waste Lifestyle.
To date, here are examples of what I have done to assist me in living a Zero Waste Lifestyle.
- Switched to Cloth Napkins
- Started using Family Cloths
- Switched to Wood Cutting Boards
- Asked Canada Post to stop delivering Ad Mail to my post box
